The Junos and Metalworks

I quite enjoyed The JUNOS last night; who knew Michael Buble was so funny! Now, I didn't like every act that performed, but there were definitely some entertaining moments and great performances. While watching the awards, I realized that there were a few winners that had either Metalworks alumni or Metalworks Studios involvement with the project; I also had the honour of being part of a couple of these projects. Firstly, Monster Truck's The Brown EP won Best Breakthrough Group of the Year; it was recorded in Studio 1 with Producer/Engineer and all around great guy Eric Ratz, with myself Assistant Engineering. Secondly, Classified's win with Inner Ninja for Best Rap Recording of the Year; which provided me the opportunity to record the choir in Studio 1 as part of the chorus. To conclude, last night was an all around great show and for me, The JUNOS seem to be stepping up their game every year. I cannot wait to see what they do next.
