Make Music Matter and Western Union present My Song for Change! My Song for Change is a national talent search competition in which participants are to submit an original musical performance online (MySongForChange.com) that focuses on global issues that they and others in the world face. The winner and winning song will be recorded and produced at Metalworks Studios, along with an accompanying music video, with Canadian celebrity musicians Cone McCaslin of Sum41 and Ian D'Sa of Billy Talent.
Video submissions will be accepted until June 15th, 2013. As of June 16th 2013, online voting will commence and be available until July 24th, 2013. The top ten videos with the highest votes will move onto the final round where they will be judged by an expert panel to announce a winner on July 31st
