Jake’s House Marks Autism Awareness Month By Forming Band

The Metalworks Studios team is pleased to have welcomed Jake's House and the band ASD to record some inspiring covers as well as this live-off-the-floor music video celebrating Autism Awareness Month.

ASD (named for Autism Spectrum Disorder) features the combined talents of five talented Canadian performers all living on the spectrum – Rawan, Robbie, Spenser, Ron and Jackson. With the help of individuals on the spectrum from around the world, the band has recorded cover versions of three classic pop songs: I Got You Babe, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, and Stitches.

Jake's House is a community initiative that provides practical help and lasting hope to families living with autism.

The band's official debut was broadcast on CityTV Toronto's Breakfast Television. Watch the ASD music video for "I Got You Babe" below.
