Gil Moore Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

On Thursday, April 14, Founder & CEO of Metalworks Group, Gil Moore was honoured with the Mississauga Board of Trade, Lifetime Achievement Award at the 55th Anniversary, Masquerade Gala. The Gala, hosted by CTV's Andria Case, was held at the International Centre where long-time friend, Tom Cochrane presented Gil Moore with his award.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to a business owner or executive who has shown an outstanding ability to grow their business and one who demonstrates a corporate and personal commitment to supporting local community causes and events. Mme. Mayor Crombie was in attendance alongside Finance Minister Honourable Charles Sousa, Canadian Music Week's Neill Dixon and other Mississauga dignitaries.

Past winners of this award include Harold Shipp, former Mississauga Mayor, Mme. Hazel McCallion and Dr. Ignat Kaneff.
