In their 12 years together as a band, The Junction have experienced all facets of the music industry, from rising suburban pop/rock experimentalists to major-label up-and-comers and back to DIY indie rockers blazing their own trail. The Toronto-based trio has established a consistent, anthemic rock sound that can only come from highly developed cohesion and an unbridled joy of music. The Junction is an indie rock band formed in 2000 from Brampton Ontario. They signed to Universal Music in 2006 but later split from the label. The band continued to tour Canada with bands such as Moneen, Bedouin Soundclash, and The Reason whilst writing songs and moving on to release recordings on their own independent label.
