Skrillex & EDM at the Grammy’s

As an EDM producer myself, I was pleased to see rocker Sonny Moore, turned EDM producer Skrillex, taking home the Best Dance Album GRAMMY for the second year in a row; this time, for his album Bangarang. Skrillex also took home two more GRAMMYs: Best Dance Single for title track "Bangarang" and Best Remixed Recording for "Promises"(Skrillex & Nero Remix). Other EDM heavyweights were scattered throughout the GRAMMY nominations, such as: Diplo (Producer of the Year Nominee), Axwell, Photek, Tommy Trash and DeadMau5; proving further that electronic dance music, love it or hate it, is slowly taking over pop music.
