Denise Lee Richards (born February 17, 1971) is an American actress and former fashion model. Her first starring role in a theatrical release was Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers in 1997. She followed with roles in Wild Things (1998), Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999), The World Is Not Enough (1999) as a bond girl, Valentine (2001), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Love Actually (2003), Edmond (2005), and Madea's Witness Protection (2012). Richards has done a number of guest arcs in television series for Melrose Place (1996), Spin City (2001) and Two and a Half Men (2003-2004). In 2001, she guest-starred in Friends, as Monica and Ross Geller's cousin. From 2008-2009, she starred on the E! reality TV show Denise Richards: It's Complicated, which detailed her daily life along with her family. Richards was a series regular on the comedy Blue Mountain State from 2010-2011. In July 2011, Richards published a memoir The Real Girl Next Door, a New York Time Best Seller. She currently stars in the ABC Family series, Twisted, on which she plays a fallen socialite.
